About Deborah DeGraff
Licensed Acupuncturist
Deborah received a Bachelor's Degree from St. Lawrence University and then graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. While in California she also studied acupuncture with Miriam Lee, the well known and much loved Palo Alto acupuncturist.
Deborah is the author of The Body Owner's Manual - An Acupuncturists Teachings on Health and Well Being, published by Putnam Penguin in 1998.
She has studied the therapeutic use of essential oils in Traditional Chinese Medicine with Peter Holmes, Lic. Ac. and when appropriate uses essential oils in the treatment room as well as on acupuncture points. Deborah has studied CraniaSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute and also incorporates CraniaSacral work into her acupuncture practice when appropriate. In 2010 Deborah met Laura Clarke Stelmok, Lic. Ac. and with her began the ongoing study of Taoist Five Element Acupuncture.
Deborah has been in private practice for over 30 years and lives in Montpelier, Vermont. She maintains a private practice in Montpelier. Griff joins her in the treatment room and welcomes you at the door.
